Apple cuts price on iTunes Plus tracks

Apple has remained steadfast in their 99 cent pricing for all of the music they offer. That is, unless you want to purchase an iTunes Plus track, then you get to pay a 30 cent premium.

Apparently Apple is feeling some heat from Amazon's venture into the world of online music sales, as they have decided to drop the price of their iTunes Plus tracks to fall in line with the rest of their musical offerings. That's right, 99 cents for every single song.

The new pricing takes effect immediately, however, not all tracks have been updated to reflect the lower price. Give it a day or two and they should all be fixed.
