Apex Legends physical release will offer exclusive skins and Apex Coins

Electronic Arts has unveiled its new Apex Legends Life Edition and Bloodhound Edition physical releases for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation. Both editions give game fans the opportunity to buy the digitally-released battle royale game on disc, also offering them an exclusive Legendary skin, some Apex Coins, and more. The bonus content varies based on game edition, but both options are the same price.Apex Legends, the battle royale game from Respawn and EA, has been and will remain free to download on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. This isn't the first digital game to get a physical release, which is more fun for fans who seek collectibles and makes it possible to give the game as a gift to new console and gaming PC owners.

The Apex Legends physical releases will be available to purchase starting on October 18 for $19.99 USD each. Both the Bloodhound and Lifeline Editions of the game come with 1,000 Apex Coins, which can be spent in the game for cosmetics and more. Beyond that, each comes with its own exclusive skins, banners, and badges:

The Lifeline Edition

- Legendary Guardian Angel Lifeline skin

- Legendary Chooser of the Slain Flatline skin

- Exclusive Winged Guardian Banner

- Exclusive Angel Struck Badge

- 1,000 Apex Coins

The Bloodhound Edition

- Legendary The Intimidator Bloodhound skin

- Legendary Wrath Bringer Prowler skin

- Exclusive Feeling Impish Banner

- Exclusive Tormentor Badge

- 1,000 Apex Coins

As with the digital version of the game, you'll need an Internet connection and EA account to play. Because the game is free to play, and as with the competing title Fortnite, Respawn's battle royale offering doesn't require a PS Plus or Xbox Live subscription to play with other console owners.
