An email printer for technophobes

Everyone has those elder relatives that refuse to get a computer no matter what you try. Well, HP has finally developed a product that allows you to send them forwarded jokes and chain letters (and pictures too) without the hassle of learning how to use a computer. It's called the Printing Mailbox and Presto Service.

At first this might sound like a great product, but like many others, it's just not practical. The first thing that comes to my mind is spam. We all know that it's nearly impossible to prevent spam, so what happens when this little guy starts spitting out twenty (or more) pieces of junk mail? This leads to my next thought, how much do you think you're going to pay for ink? Most people don't print every single piece of mail they get, but with this little guy you don't have a choice. Don't forget the monthly service charges for using it either.

You may want to think twice about getting one of these for Grandpa and Grandma. You're better off just picking up the phone and calling them, and mailing the pictures.
