Amp'd to get cash and stocks for moving customers to Prexar Mobile

I'm sure that by now you've heard about the fall of Amp'd Mobile. They recently suggested that customers switch over to the relatively unknown mobile provider Prexar Mobile. Why would a crumbling company so graciously advise their customers to go with another provider? For money of course.

Apparently Amp'd Mobile has struck a deal with Prexar that will give them a combo payout of cash and stock for their remaining customers. If that weren't enough, they're also getting a 25% stake in the company.

So one way or another, Amp'd is going to make back some of that money that they lost on their customers. I just wonder how much of a dent this will put in the huge amount that they owe Verizon.
