Amazon Digital Day Sale is on: Here's what's good

While we'd normally expect to moving into a silent time for sales now that we're past the holiday shopping frenzy, Amazon has one last day of discounts to close out 2017. Today Amazon launched its Digital Day Sale which, as you can probably guess, sees it discounting a variety of digital products. If you're looking for a movie to watch or a book to read, this is definitely the sale for you.

At first blush, Amazon's Digital Day Sale seems to be include a mishmash of products. For instance, two of the headlining deals are 75% off Norton Security device virus protection and 80% of in-game items in Pokemon Duel. Dive a little deeper, though, and you'll find deals on Amazon Video rentals and purchases, PC games, graphic novels, and comic books through Kindle.

Amazon has a lot of deals on movies and TV, with movies like The Lego Batman Movie, WarCraft, Kong: Skull Island, Deadpool, La La Land, and The Dark Tower marked down to $9.99 each. TV episodes and full seasons are also getting a discount in this sale, with Game of Thrones, True Detective, Doctor Who, Outlander, and Big Little Lies all worth checking out. Of course, the offerings for movies and TV are a lot more extensive than just this list, so you'll want to take a longer look at them over at Amazon.

When we take a look at PC games, the list of deals thin out quite a bit. Still, there are some gems, such as 50% off Civilization VI: Digital Deluxe Edition, 30% off Assassin's Creed Origins, and 15% off Cuphead. While there aren't a ton of discounts, there are still some deals to be had if you missed out on some of 2016 and 2017's big hits.

If you're more of a mobile gamer, you'll find plenty of discounts on mobile games and in-app purchases, and readers should be able to find plenty of deals to take advantage of as well (especially if you like comics).
