ISS commander, astronaut Scott Kelly answering questions live on Tumblr right now

If you've ever wanted to participate in a live, Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything)-like session with an astronaut in space, your chance is RIGHT NOW. All you have to do is head on over to Tumblr, where NASA astronaut, and current commander of the International Space Station, Scott Kelly is answering questions from space. He's participating in an "Answer Time" session, or Tumblr's take on the AMA, where readers can ask any question they like, with the chance Kelly will respond.

Kelly participated in a Reddit AMA in late January, and seeing as he must have so much free time up there in space, he's doing it again. His session is scheduled to begin at 1:45 PM Eastern on February 13th (again, at the time of publishing, that's RIGHT NOW).

Not only is astronaut Kelly doing lots of cool things aboard the ISS, like growing, and also eating, the first lettuce grown in space, playing ping-pong with water, or testing out cups that keep liquid contents in place during low gravity, he's busy setting records like becoming the American to spend the most time in space.

His current year-long mission also sees him participating in a NASA study along with his twin brother, who remains on Earth, to learn about the effects long periods of time in space has on the human body.

Of course, you don't have to ask questions related to any of that stuff if you don't want to. You could just ask about casual things, like what food from Earth he misses the most, or what he wants to do first when he returns home. Since the ISS has plenty of opportunities to see the latest movies, ask what he thought about The Martian with Matt Damon. There's almost no limit to what you could ask, just make you do it now.
