After yesterday’s Viliv S5 MID unboxing gallery, now comes the unboxing video together with a hands-on video.  The S5 is shaping up to be a very interesting device, with the portability and media functionality of a touchscreen PMP, but the flexibility of a MID.  Unlike some rivals, there’s no shortage of ports, either; the S5 manages to fit in both a USB host and USB client port.

The S5 in the video is the Premium model, with an Intel 1.33GHz Atom Z520 processor, 1GB of RAM and a 60GB hard-drive; it also has hardware 1080p high-definition video acceleration.  Connectivity includes WiFi and GPS, and according to Viliv it should run for around 4hrs with WiFi switched on.
