Well folks, the end of Thursday is nearly upon us, which means we'll be kicking off the weekend soon. Today brought quite a bit more news about the Apple vs. Samsung trial than yesterday did, with Samsung's lawyer fighting back against allegations made by Apple's counsel. Things aren't looking too good for Samsung though, as it appears that Judge Lucy Koh has thrown out quite a bit of the company's evidence, and now Apple is requesting sanctions that uphold its patents based on yesterday's evidence leak. The upside to all of this, however, is that we got another peek at an early iPhone prototype today, so be sure to check that one out.

Amazing Spider-Man goes mobile before big premiere

This week the folks at Gameloft have revealed that they will be taking part in the run-up to the release of The Amazing Spider-Man movie premiering later this month. Gameloft will be releasing a video game for mobile devices including the iPhone, iPad, Android devices of all kinds, and - believe it or not - feature phones! How on earth they'll be doing such an amazing feat, we do not yet know, but what we do know is that Gameloft has a history of creating fabulous superhero games, not least of all Spider-Man: Total Mayhem, a mobile classic released well before its time.

At BlackBerry World, they needed to impress customers, developers, and the tech press with BlackBerry 10, and while it doesn’t seem like a slam dunk, what has been seen so far seems to have been met with a positive reception.
