HTC 7 Mozart clears GCF with Euro 3G support

The HTC 7 Mozart has been spotted passing through the Global Certification Forum, complete with quadband GSM/EDGE support and dualband UMTS/HSPA (900/2100).  The listing – which, as the GCF only test cellular wireless standards, doesn't include any other specifications – confirms that the 7 Mozart is HTC's European model.

That's as opposed to the HTC Schubert, which is believed to be basically the same handset only using the North American 3G bands.  Other specifications for the 7 Mozart include a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 8GB of onboard storage, an 8-megapixel camera with Xenon flash and a 3-inch WVGA Super LCD display.

OS is, of course, Windows Phone 7, and the HTC 7 Mozart is expected to be among the company's initial line-up of handsets using the new Microsoft platform.  HTC has previously confirmed that they will be launching their first WP7 devices in October 2010.
