GoPro Fetch straps cameras to dogs

Thanks to GoPro cameras we've already seen what it's like to be a surgeon, a car, and a crazy kayaker; now you can pretend to be a dog. The company's latest mount, the GoPro Fetch, is designed to be strapped to your pooch so as to get a dog's-eye view.

The harness fits small, medium, and large dogs, ranging from 15 to 120 pounds (7 to 54 kg). It actually has two different mounting points – one on top, and one slung underneath – though the latter can be removed to fit particularly small dogs.

All of the straps and the mounting hardware itself are machine washable and waterproof, so even if your dog takes a run through a lake chasing ducks you should be okay (as long as your GoPro itself is safely ensconced in a waterproof case, of course).

A camera tether is included, just in case the regular mount releases unexpectedly.

If your dog is big enough, in fact, you could feasibly outfit it with two cameras simultaneously, should you be particularly interested in what it sees. GoPro Fetch is available now, priced at $59.99.
