CDMA Nexus One stock already headed to Verizon?

Last we heard through the rumor-mill, Verizon were readying themselves for a March 23rd launch of the CDMA version of the Google Nexus One.  In apparent preparation for that, Chinese newspaper Economic Daily News are supposedly reporting that HTC have begun shipments of the handset to Verizon in the US, with European shipments of the GSM Nexus One headed to Vodafone "soon".

Vodafone UK, for their part, added a pre-registration option on their site late last week for the incoming GSM Nexus One, though so far it's only listed as "coming soon".  According to the Chinese paper, Verizon are expected to launch their Nexus One either late this month or in April 2010.

The CDMA Nexus One was spotted clearing the FCC earlier in the year.  The handset is expected to be functionality identical to the existing, GSM model, only swapping out that device's UMTS/HSPA connectivity for a CDMA/EVDO Rev.A modem instead.
