Canon counts down to an impossibly vague "impossible" event

Canon has something in store this weak and like many teasers it leaves you guessing what it will be about. Unlike most teasers, however, it offers no clue at all which of Canon's many product lines it refers to.

If anything, Canon's teaser is a tad poetic, if not inspirational. It is trying to talk to fear and doubt, logic and reason, the ones that say it can't be done. To them Canon says that it can't see what they mean. Because, at least according to Canon, Canon sees the impossible.

What that impossible refers to right now is anyone's guess. All that visual metaphor would seem to imply something related to imaging, like a camera. But the manufacturer just recently unveiled the EOS 7D Mark II, so far its best bet in the professional digital photography arena, at least as far as its EOS line is concerned. There is some word that there might be some high megapixel DSLR in the works as well. And there's also a possibility that it might be some printer as well.

But seeing the impossible is one thing. Pulling off the impossible is another. Whatever it is, there is less than 16 hours left in Canon's timer before it finally tells the world what it really saw. And, to add on to that seeing metaphors, to see is to believe.
