ZTE Blade L2 debuts in Europe ahead of global rollout

ZTE has introduced its Blade L2 smartphone in Europe, making it available in Greece and Spain and promising a wider launch across the globe later on this year. This is the newest addition to ZTE's Blade series, and is a decidedly mid-range offering.

The Blade L2 has a 5-inch display with a 480 x 854 resolution, and runs a 1.3GHz quad-core processor alongside a gigabyte of RAM and 4GB of internal storage space. The handset runs Android 4.2, and comes pre-loaded with Evernote, Dropbox, Facebook, and Twitter.

The camera is a decent offering at 5-megapixels (0.3-megapixels on the front), and includes auto focus, an LED flash, face detection, Smile Shot, continuous shot, panorama, and a self-timer. Bluetooth 4.0 and Dual-SIM rounds it all out.

Said ZTE's AO Wen, "At ZTE, it's no secret that we pride ourselves on the affordability of our smartphone handsets that makes smartphone technology available to everyone. We've had huge success with our Blade series to date in Europe, and we're excited to introduce the latest edition. We're confident that the ZTE Blade L2 will offer our ever-more discerning customers across Europe a stylish and high performance device at the right price."
