This isn’t really a card for gamers, its aimed more at media center builders. The G98 chipset is a slower performer than the G92.

Add the slower chipset to the meager 256MB of GDDR3 and the integrated HDMI out and it becomes quite clear its targeted at the home theater PC enthusiasts. It has a cool 65nm process and a 600MHz core clock and 1600MHz memory clock speed.

Even better yet it can hardware decode H.264 and VC-1. Basically it should be cool, quiet, and perfect for playing high definition video, which, chances are, if you are buying one of these, is exactly what you want it to do.
