We first heard about the XM SkyDock back in August when it was unveiled. The device was pegged at the time to have a launch date “this fall.” Since it’s already cold in many parts of the country and the leaves are falling, fall is officially here.

Sirius XM has announced that the XM SkyDock is now available to purchase across the country. The device is available to purchase online at the Apple Store and in retail outlets like Best Buy, Radio Shack, and other places. Subscribers can use the SkyDock to get access to all available satellite radio content based on their subscription.

The SkyDock is compatible with the iPod touch first and second generation as well as all iPhone models that are running OS 3.0. The SkyDock uses PowerConnect technology for a simple installation and has an auxiliary output. The device sells for $119.99 and the associated app is free.
