Not only does it act as a gun for playing Wii games that could use that type of functionality, such as Link’s Crossbow Training, the game that comes with Nintendo’s Wii Zapper. It also offers up a laser sight and a ping pong ball-tipped arrow that actually fires.

The downside is that it will likely blind you if you use the laser sight due to it reflecting off of your TV. Also, the thing costs $28 which is more than the Wii Zapper/Game combo.

Lastly, I don’t know of any other game that uses a cross bow, so the effects of having the crossbow there would be lost on any other game. Unless they come out with a new Resident Evil with a crossbow, which would make me very happy.
