Watch Jeff Bezos introduce the Amazon Fire

Earlier today, Amazon took the wraps off its oft-rumored smartphone, the Amazon Fire. We've got quite a collection of news related to Amazon's press event, but if you're looking to watch the entire press conference for yourself, you can.

Amazon uploaded a video of the entire press conference from start to finish to its YouTube page, allowing anyone who couldn't attend to watch it for themselves. In it, you'll see Jeff Bezos introduce the handset, and go through a run down of what it offers and what it's all about.

We've given the handset an extensive hands-on, part of which you can check out in our Part 1 Hands-on video below. The phone is an AT&T exclusive, and it draws design inspiration from the Kindle Fire HDX ebook reader. There's nary a carrier logo present, instead featuring Amazon's logo on the rear.

The handset features a 4.7-inch display with a 720p resolution and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.2GHz processor. There's a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, and the promise of 22 hours of talk time. Be sure to check out our hands-on for all the details.
