Vizio Tablet Gets Price Cut To $299

The budget-friendly Vizio Tablet has just become even friendlier on your wallet. The 8-inch Android slate was originally released on Vizio's own website and to limited retailers with a price tag of $329. But now it's finally hitting the store shelves of Walmart, Sams's Club, Costco, and Amazon, sporting a new low price of $299.

The Vizio Tablet is designed with the best value in mind for the general consumer. But more so, it's meant to be the ultimate companion for your home theater. It boasts some unique features such as an integrated IR blaster for controlling up to 95% of your home theater electronics. It also has three speakers that adjust to provide proper stereo sound no matter what orientation it's held.

Additionally, it provides standard micro-USB and micro-HDMI ports for convenient connectivity as well as a microSD card slot that can expand the internal 2GB memory with up to an additional 32GB.
