Snapdragon's appearance in various netbooks over the past few days may have distracted you from the fact that its first proper showing will likely be in the Toshiba TG01. O2 Germany had already announced their intention to carry the Windows Mobile smartphone, but they've now confirmed that it'll be arriving on the market within the next three weeks.
The TG01 is interesting inside and out, with the Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD2850 1GHz processor inside and a 4.1-inch WVGA resistive touchscreen on the outside. The whole thing is just 9.9mm thick, despite packing WiFi, HSPA, GPS, Bluetooth and a microSD slot content with up to 32GB cards. Check out our live photos and video of the smartphone for more details.
Even better, it'll be relatively cheap to pick up. O2 Germany plan to offer the TG01 as a free handset, as long as you're content to sign up to a 24-month contract at just €20 ($28) per month.
