The only thing that the Samsung SyncMaster 971P-R has going is this one push button pivot/tilt mechanism allowing it to flip from portrait to landscape and vice versa. For that alone, this 19-inch display commands a hefty price of $599. It’s worth mentioning that other features include 250-cd/m2 brightness, 2-port USB hub, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 1280×1024 SXGA resolution, and 178-degrees viewing angles. The overpriced 971P-R display goes on sale on August 25th.
