Altec Lansing were out last night to preview their latest iPod speaker dock, the Octiv Duo, and it's designed for those households with more than one iPod or iPhone to rejuice.  The horn-shaped dock can not only recharge both devices simultaneously, but also shuffle tunes stored on each (using the free Music Mix app) to put an end to "no, my playlist next" arguments. XtremeMac Tango TRX iPod dock doesn’t actually demand docking

We're seeing a growing trend in iPod speaker docks to take advantage of the recent models' Bluetooth support, and that's just what XtremeMac's Tango TRX delivers.  You can still dock your iPhone, iPod touch or even your iPad at the front, but alternatively you can pair it via Bluetooth 2.1 and beam your music over wirelessly. Welcome to the latest edition of the SlashGear Week in Review. Monday we found out that the Samsung Galaxy Tab would cost in the area of $200 to $400 depending on subsidies from wireless carriers. We can assume that the Galaxy Tab will cost on the higher end of that range. Later in the day on Monday the pricing for the Samsung Galaxy Tab in Germany surfaced via Amazon. Sound Freaq SFQ01 hands-on

Is there still room for more iPod speaker docks?  New company Sound Freaq reckon so, and their SFQ01 is an attempt to take a slice of the lucrative market.  Designed with - as they themselves said - love-it or hate-it aesthetics, the slab-sided dock system promises above-average sound quality thanks to the company's own UQ DSP system.  Meanwhile, a companion iPad app allows for straightforward remote control, together with streaming from the Apple slate itself. Philips Fidelio iPad speaker dock

It's not exactly a stretch: the iPad has the same dock connector as the iPhone and iPod, so why not make a speaker-dock that will accept Apple's slate as well as its smaller PMPs?  That's what Philips has done with the Fidelio [PDF link], a stereo speaker dock that takes the iPad not just the smaller models, and also packs Bluetooth so the music can continue even when the tablet isn't in place. You'd be forgiven for thinking this was a combination cup-holder and iPod dock, but in actual fact the Sony SRS-V500IP gives speakers a travel-mug style update.  Inside lurks the company's 360-degree "Circle Sound Stage" system, promising to spread the audio from the 16W stereo speakers so that everyone around you can enjoy it, while the "mug" itself can be removed and used with an in-car power adapter, slotting neatly into a cupholder. Pioneer has unveiled their latest iPod speaker dock, the KODO XW-NAW1, and it's about as close to an wafer-thin after-dinner mint as you can hope from a way to play tracks on your Apple PMP.  83mm thick and designed to be wall-mounted (though it does get a bundled stand, too), the KODO XW-NAW1 has 30W stereo speakers and nifty touch-sensitive buttons.
