JBL OnBeat speaker dock supports iPad 2

JBL's latest iPod speaker dock has broken cover, and the JBL OnBeat joins the rare group of those units that support the iPad as well. Thanks to a range of docking clamps - which rotate to support iPhone and iPod touch landscape orientation - the OnBeat will accept your iPad or iPad 2, along with a 3.5mm aux-in for using other PMPs.

Panasonic MW-20 digital photo frame doubles as iPhone speaker-dock

Perhaps we shouldn't be surprised; Panasonic's latest digital photo frame has sprouted an iPhone dock, allowing you to not only display images stored on its 2GB of internal storage but any pictures on the Apple smartphone.  The Panasonic MW-20 has a 9-inch LCD display on an adjustable hinge, and also works as a speaker-dock thanks to its 5.6-mm Super Slim Semi Dome Speaker and sound diffuser.

Altec Lansing Octiv Duo hands-on

Altec Lansing were out last night to preview their latest iPod speaker dock, the Octiv Duo, and it's designed for those households with more than one iPod or iPhone to rejuice.  The horn-shaped dock can not only recharge both devices simultaneously, but also shuffle tunes stored on each (using the free Music Mix app) to put an end to "no, my playlist next" arguments.
