Motorola's second-generation ATRIX smartphone has been available for quite a while now, but it finally seems AT&T is ready to give some update love to the device by announcing Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for the ATRIX 2. Users will soon see an over-the-air update on their devices that will update their phones to Google's second-latest Android offering.

AT&T Motorola Dinara could drop imminently as Atrix 3 LTE
Evidence of a new AT&T branded Motorola smartphone believed to be the successor to the Atrix 2 has cropped up in the wild, with the handset - codenamed "Dinara" - believed to be headed to the carrier's LTE network. Packing a 720p HD display and running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, according to The Verge's tipster, it's estimated that the phone could hit AT&T's 4G airwaves as soon as late July.

Motorola ATRIX 2 Review
Back when the world hadn’t yet tasted more than a single core in a smartphone here in the USA, there was the ATRIX 4G, and now that the large part of a year has passed and dual-core processors are the norm, the ATRIX 2 pops up with a few improved specs and a whole new body – is it time to upgrade? We’ve got more than a few questions (and a few answers, too!) about the ATRIX 2 including why it exists and how it’ll stand up against the rest of the very well-suited superphone environment again here in the USA. Did Motorola create another ATRIX just for the fun of it, or is this truly the next-level device ATRIX lovers of the past have been waiting for?
Motorola Lapdock 100 Review
Motorola has since the first ATRIX device been pushing a mobile environment it calls Webtop, and here in one of two of its newest Webtop-based devices, the Lapdock 100, working in this world is a strangely enticing option. One of the set of tests I’m putting this Lapdock through is actually creating this post using the Lapdock itself NEARLY exclusively. I’ve not quite been able to bring myself to use it for any sort of image processing yet, but everything inside typing, highlighting, right-clicking, and the basics of blogging seem to be working just fine thus far. How’s this device hooked up with a Motorola smartphone work out for the rest of an everyday set of activities? We shall see!
Motorola ATRIX 2 Hands-on and Unboxing [Video]
Here in the USA the very first smartphone to carry a dual-core processor was the first ATRIX from Motorola – what we’ve got now is a wholly new device by the name of ATRIX 2 from AT&T, complete with a different brand processor, bigger display, and a whole new set of accessories to complete the package. The original ATRIX 4G lead the way for Motorola with what they called Webtop, a form of operating system that came from the smartphone but was displayed on either the big-screen TV, the home PC monitor, or the brand new “Lapdock,” a laptop with the ability to plug the smartphone in to the back of it — there’s a whole new Lapdock (or two!), accessories galore, and the form factor on the ATRIX itself is wholly changed.
AT&T outs ATRIX 2, Samsung Captivate Glide and three more ‘Droids
AT&T has announced a full five new Android devices, the Motorola ATRIX 2, Samsung DoubleTime, Samsung Captivate Glide, Pantech Pocket and AT&T Avail, taking the carrier’s total ‘droid-powered count to 19 this year. The ATRIX 2 and the Captivate Glide are the two most interesting, each packing 4G HSPA+ for up to 21Mbps downloads (network depending) along with 1GHz dual-core processors, 8-megapixel cameras with LED flash and Full HD video recording, and a 4.3-inch qHD display on the Motorola while the Samsung makes do with 4-inches of WVGA Super AMOLED.
Motorola Atrix 2 leaks again, shows a new Motorola Lapdock
The juicy and exciting Motorola leaks just keep on coming this week. We now have the official press images for the upcoming and recently leaked Motorola Atrix 2. We can now confirm the naming will indeed be the Atrix 2 -- not the HD, and Motorola is also preparing a fancy new "Lapdock 100" to launch along with the new Atrix 2.
