When Motorola first announced the Motorola Droid, the connection to George Lucas' Star Wars wasn't missed. And, plenty of people eagerly anticipated something that showed the connection, other than the name. And now, with the R2-D2 edition of the Droid 2, that time has finally come. The Daily Slash: September 28th 2010

Welcome to the Tuesday edition of The Daily Slash. Tonight, in the news that we found around the Web, we've got confirmation from Microsoft that the "Chassis 2" physical design for Windows Phone 7 will be very similar to the "BlackBerry" style that we've seen over the years -- a candybar device with a full physical QWERTY keyboard right up front. And then, as usual, we'll take a look at what's happening around the R3 Media Network.

Tonight's edition of The Daily Slash is going to be a bit different. If you'll recall, we've only ever had one video put into one of these nightly articles, but tonight, well, tonight is special. Why?
