Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer 3 released in 4K and Music editions

The original "3rd" Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer (otherwise known as the first full-length trailer) has already garnered many millions of views in just over a day. Now Lucasfilm has decided to bestow upon us two new versions of the trailer – one without words, the other in full Ultra HD, aka glorious 4K resolution. These trailers show the same content as before – they're just better for one reason (far higher-definition) or the other (time to bask in the greatness of John Williams' score alone).

The first version of the trailer you're going to see here is the first release. We've re-hosted it (or I have, personally), so you're not going to see the millions of view counters at the moment. This trailer includes details you MIGHT not want to see if you're avoiding any spoilers.

If you know what to look for, this trailer has everything. If you don't know what to look for, this trailer reveals nothing.

Next you'll see the music-only or score-only version of the trailer. This version, unfortunately, only comes in 720p resolution. But worry not! We've got the biggest of all the trailers below.

Below you'll see the 4K version of the trailer. Instead of 1920 x 1080 pixels (as seen in the first trailer above), this Ultra HD 4K trailer has a whopping 3840 x 2160 pixels throughout its face. That's sharp. Sharp enough to make use of your fabulous 2K-display-wielding smartphone, anyway.

Stick around our Star Wars tag portal for more The Force Awakens action well through the future – and don't forget about Boba Fett!
