So lets see what we have here, other than the fact they look the same, they have a similar slider QWERTY keypad as well. There is also a 1.3 MP camera built in.

Spring LG Rumor

Sprint’s POP based email client is on there too. Bluetooth, microSD, they’re all present along with Sprint’s GPS service.

So what could possibly be wrong with this phone other than the lack of a touch screen? The WWAN connection isn’t EV-DO its only 1xRTT. But its cheap, $80 after 2-year agreement and $50 rebate.

The good thing with Sprint is that you can unlock phones and use them with any service. With verizon phones you can ONLY use verizon phones. And Kevin has a good point! They are both from LG. So before u go judgemental on only VERIZON phones are good, think again! This phone is awesome…just like an enV! So give it a dang chance, SYDNEY!

    THE GOOD
The LG Rumor has a lovely design, with a built-in hidden QWERTY keyboard for easy messaging. Features include a 1.3-megapixel camera, an MP3 player, Bluetooth, and more. It provides easy access to Facebook, plus it supports Sprint Navigation.

    THE BAD
The LG Rumor does not have EV-DO, and surfing the Web can be quite slow. The screen has poor resolution, and the camera has no flash.

    THE BOTTOM LINE
Though the LG Rumor is not as fast as we’d like, it’s still a great messaging multimedia device for those who don’t need a lot of speed.

the rumor is way better than the env, i say this cuz the env is soooo fat, and the colors arent that appealin either, and the keyboard is so obvious that it is their, the rumor is way better, it is light weight, has great colors, the keyboard is hidden nicley, messagin is a sinch, their r more bakrounds and ringtones that come wit it than the env, and it is waaayyy cheap. whoever is stumped on which 2 get, env or rumor, u mis well get the rumor, cuz it is jus lik the env only better.

Personally, i hate this phone with a passion. I got this phone in April and in August the screen turned completely white and luckily, Sprint fixed it for free. But since then, the phone has just gotten worse. For one thing, it turns off about 5 times a day, randomly. Also my friends have been getting my texts 3 or 4 hours after i have sent them… I also have a friend who got this phone and he kept it in his pocket, like most people do, and the screen busted and Sprint told him it was because of him keeping the phone in his pants. WHAT? So, if i were you i would not consider this phone as an option unless you can promise yourself you will never ever drop it, because thats what i think busted my phone in the first place.

I like, not love, this phone. I got this phone last Christmas, and it still works. If you are planning to get the enV2 (wait…you weren’t talking about the REGULAR OLD enV,,,right? Cause that thing is HIDEOUS!), I would say…GET THE RUMOR INSTEAD! It’s not as great as people say, but the simple design and its sturdiness makes it a sturdy, hard-working phone, and Sprint usually covers all of the damages. I have dropped it 3 times in chlorinated water, and it worked fine right after. This phone is also unlockable, so you can use it under Verizon, too. I’d say the Rumor is a better choice…better color options (blue, green, black and white), quality, etc etc etc.
