Speakal miSoccer iPod dock is just in time for World Cup

Dec 10, 2009

Speakal is famous (or is it infamous) for making some of the strangest iPod docks around. The things have been offered up in pig shapes and as weird flowerpot things. Speakal has unveiled its newest iPod dock that is shaped like something more mundane -- a soccer ball.

The dock is called the miSoccer and has 23-watts of power. The sub alone has 15-watts of power and the dual multi-way speakers get the rest of the power. Any dockable iPod can be attached to the miSoccer.

Touch controls on top of the soccer ball allow for controlling the volume and track. The dock is available in blue, red, or black colors and the design allows for 360-degree sound to fill a room. The miSoccer is available now for $119.99.
