Last week I informed you that Soul Calibur IV had been officially announced for a July 29th release. In addition to the regular versions of the game, there would also be a Premium Edition for each console. This version will set you back an extra $20 and include a few bonus items, including a mysterious tournament kit. Well, we have discovered exactly what this tournament kit consists of, and it’s a bit disappointing.

Soul Calibur IV Premium Editions

When someone mentions a kit, I usually think of something that contains multiple items, all to be used for a singular purpose. However, Namco Bandai seems to think that a single item is enough to call it a kit. The “kit” consists of a single tournament bracket card. I’m not really sure what I was expecting, but I guess I had hoped for just a little more than a card.

On a brighter note, the t-shirt inside the collectors tin will be different depending on which console version you purchased. Unfortunately the shit only comes in XL. Seriously, why is it so hard to actually find a shirt that fits me? Everyone always assumes that an XL will do.

dammit, I don’t want that green goblin on my shirt, XL is too big, and what the hell am I supposed to do with a card? I need to let out this aggression with some Soul Calibur; although that usually just makes me more angry.
