skull-helmetNothing says “I don’t fear death” more than a skull helmet. Except for a skull helmet that isn’t DOT or Snell certified, basically meaning it offers next to no protection.

Although if you were to look at the inside of the helmet, there is a fair amount of padding and such, so it probably lost its certification due to the fact that the face of the skull continues down the front of your face, and those eye holes probably block your peripheral vision a bit. But that’s just my guess; it could be that there actually isn’t enough protection.

Word is they are already sold out, and at a $150 it’s a bit of a pricey helmet, but it is totally bad ass. Sure its not DOT or Snell approved, so I wouldn’t wear it while riding anything powered by a motor, but it’ll probably do for sports where you are self propelled, like biking, skateboarding, or roller skating.
