It’s like a game of red light, green light with this phone, but its back for now at T-Mobile. They had some issues with the battery/connectors when they were first released, but presumably, if they are selling them again, those are fixed.

It’s still the same price, $199.99 after you sign a 2-year contract and get the discount from that. So, if you want you can go buy one now.

I have yet to be able to get my hands on one of these, but I got the Sidekick LX for review, and I freakin loved that thing, I am dead serious when I say that if I had better T-Mobile coverage locally, I would drop my other phone contracts right now, early termination fees and all and go get myself a Sidekick LX. The Slide is rumored to be just as good, but a little less bulky, and obviously the screen opens up differently. I’d definitely recommend getting one of them, they are awesome.

Yea, I would probably preferably want the one that swivels as I like the uniqueness of it but pretty neat either way.

    I have always wanted a Sidekick but I don’t gotz T-Mobile… haha

Yea so I got my Slide in the mail today and I am really impressed with it! As a long time user of the Sidekick family I didn’t know if I would live the sliding screen as opposed to the swivel, but I really do. Only a couple of things bothered me about the Slide and one is that to download the MySpace application it said that there would be a $1.99 fee per month, when I thought that it was free, and there isn’t an alarm clock that I could find, but it was listed on the site as a feature. Other than that the phone is great and highly recommended for size and look. Loving the MMS picture messaging, but the internet speed is still the same ole. I’m glad that I purchased this, but I’m hoping for a bit more on the next go ’round.
