This firmware update, version 3.07 includes lots of new features. There is now album art in the music selection list, including a cover flow styled menu. You can download the new firmware here, after you do that, unzip it, there should be two files, copy them over to the main directory of your P2 and then disconnect it from your PC, you’ll have to restart it a couple times as it updates, but thats all there is to it.
There are some new icons, the ability to zoom in on a video if it wasn’t formatted to the size of the player’s screen, the ability to zoom and rotate on photos, some new text file features. There are some video games that have been added as well, it looks like there are 5 new games.
You now have the ability to record FM radio streams, you can now delete files directly from the device. The custom EQ in the DNSe menu now moves in a slightly different way, meaning you can move them all at once with your finger or raise them all the same amount if you want, there is also a play speed adjustment to slow down or speed up tracks. You can also set various pictures, after you do what little editing you can on the player, as your background or skin.

I’m from Germany and don’t know anything from the new firmware, because i allways watching at Samsungs homepage. I don’t like to download them from anywhere other, because the warranty get lost.
Can anybody tell me when i can download the firmware from samsung.com or samsung.de?

as soon as that you go to the site , go to support then to your mp3 then down near the bottom is a tabbed box click firmware tab then d-load the firmware, open the zipped files and drop them into your mp3 main list through windows explorer

At the german website there is only the first “Bluewave Update” - Firmware version 2.08
So i have already downloaded and installed them. But i really like the new functions of the latest firmware version, the second “Bluewave Update” called v3.07!
The problem is that theres still not the latest firmware at the german homepage.
You don’t must tell me how to install them, i know the procedure.
But thanks for your answer. If you know the date when the german firmware comes out, please post it.
i got the two files but what is the main directory and were is the games if it works
Hello. I did not see this little text of wise word all of you were typing. I have downloaded the firmware 3.07 and it works. But there are no games. Do´h.. But if now the warranty of my P2 is long lost, is it possible to make the firmware go to its previous state? I mean to its original firmware? I tried to format it but it still runs with the 3.07 firmware. And there are no update at the swedish samsung site either. Thats why i downloaded it from this site. anyone who knows the date when it arrives to sweden?
im with him were are the games you say about it just says no file… any help

i made a big mistake with my samsung player Yp-P2. I update the newest firmware version but didn’t make a copy of the old one.
So now i miss the button for bluetooth activatin head set.
Is there anybody which can help me now?
Because i want to use my Bluetooth headphones!!!

no problem even you update ur YP-P2 in 3.07, there is no effect in the headset, before this also the problem that i encountered in my YP-P2, co’z i bought the BH270 Bluetooth headset, i thought it will not work to my Player, but when disconect my connection to my Samsung mobile, i got connected to my player, if you other connection with your bluetooth device, try to disconnect before you connect to in to your YP-P2, and alsoo try to refer to your user manual,

ok,so I have one,The screen has like a little little little litle little scratch but because I have taken care of it…But the sides…Are my worries,Cause like they don’t scratch but they show like invisible parts were they were scratched…..Sucks…I know….

i can’t update the newest version of firmware coz it pops me a table which says update firmware failed try again later i tries several times and shows the same thing everytime, is there samothing wrong with my pc, can anybody help me plse. thnx.
Hey, when I updated it, they told my to “Connect to USB and update resource file”
How do I do that?
