The only complaint I had with the Blackjack was the battery life and the nuisance of having to change the battery every five or six hours. It was nice of Samsung to include an extra battery and a charger, but I would rather just have one that will last me throughout the day. Well my friends, Samsung heard our feedbacks and will be delivering a much larger battery with a capacity of 1800mAh to replace the smaller 1200mAh ones that came in the package.

The bigger battery does however add a little more weight and thickens the Blackjack a bit. The slightly meatier body doesn’t bother me so much, if it can just get through the last two or three hours of my day.

Give me a day or so to get to the bottom of the how to get one and how much its going to cost.  The extended life battery cost $49.99 and is available for purchase on the Samsung accessories website.  With this battery you need to purchase a separate battery cover ($9.99), to accommodate the larger size.  Thanks Tracy for the quick response!
