The developers at Rootly have been slaving away on this new project to deliver a fantastically looking news site. Rootly gets news from about 3,000 notable news source and categorizes them under a bit over 100 categories.

Rootly is not another Google news clone, in fact, Rootly serve more than just a news aggregator. It has social functions for users to be able to monitor other users activities, such as seeing what stories they were interested in, and, Rootly allows you to mark certain news items as “favorites” and share it with your friends. Rootly aggregate over 10,000 new headlines every single day.
