Yet more PS3 news, a little less dramatic than earlier but perhaps more useful in the long run.  ITmedia +D Games and Game Watch have both covered upgrading the PS3′s internal hard-drive to 80gb and 100gb respectively, photo documenting what looks like a pretty easy (albeit potentially warranty-spoiling) procedure.  The drive cage is accessible via a panel on one side, and contains a 2.5-inch serial ATA model commonly found in notebooks, the Seagate Momentus 5400.2.  Check out the pictures (and a screen-shot of size evidence) after the cut.
