Today in Barcelona, Spain for Mobile World Congress 2013 the folks from HP have officially announced they'll be entering the Android tablet market. A few weeks back there were rumors regarding a high-end Tegra 4 HP tablet in the works, but instead the company is aiming for the 7-inch budget crowd. Today they detailed the all new HP Slate 7 running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and it will be available in April.

New Google Glass video demos true potential of water-resistant wearable

Google has spilled a fresh batch of Google Glass details, with a new video detailing what the wearable can do - including video, Google searches, photos, voice translation, and more - as well as showing the latest hardware. The new footage is apparently a far more realistic demonstration of Glass' potential than Google's original concept video, putting a preview pane of the Glass eyepiece in the upper right corner of the screen, and showing how the headset can react to spoken commands previewed with the order "OK, Glass."

Google's engineer Frank Petterson announced via his Google+ profile that the search engine giant has rolled out the Google+ iOS mobile app for 48 new locations. The Google+ iOS app for the new countries and territories can now be nabbed via the App Store or iTunes. This follows the app's initial launch in the middle of last year.
