That’s pretty much it, those of you that have the PS3 or Wii versions of the game can go buy a whole other copy of the game to get a second controller. For now that’s it, and the Xbox 360 and PS2 owners are stuck without until next year.

So, there are tons of knockoff guitar controllers, there is one guitar for Guitar Hero 1, 2, and 3, and another for Rock Band, and depending on what system you have, there were some random special edition official guitars along the way. That’s pretty much it though.

I still haven’t heard whether Rock Band’s guitar controller works with the various versions of Guitar Hero and visa versa, I know it was rumored that they should though. But, you can now stop searching for the new versions of Guitar Hero wireless controllers until next year.

The guitar from Guitar hero III works with Rock band, i have not tested the other way around because the included guitar was broken for rockband, G4.TV had 30min block on last night talking about harmonix and all the games they have made, it was announced that the Down strum on the guitars for rock band were all breaking after a couple of uses.
