The original Charge Base for PS3 charged four controllers and costs a bit more than this one, I don’t know about you, but I don’t have 4 controllers sitting around. In fact I can’t even remember the last time I played a game with 3 other people, so a Charge Base with only two charging slots for a little less coin might be better fitted.

And that’s what they have done; the new version has 2 charging slots and comes with the same USB 2.0 adapter charging things that the last one did. So you still have to plug those little adapters into your controller before you place them in the charger, but it’s probably still better than stringing USB cables all over the place.

The charger still looks good, has the large green and red lights to indicate when they are fully charged. If you want one, you should be able to pick it up sometime next week for about $30.
