If the first Nokia 5800 XpressMusic video wasn’t enough for you, Nokia have thrown another seven up onto their Ovi media sharing site.  The video demonstrates both the touchscreen 5800’s functionality – including Ovi and Comes With Music – and tips & tricks for its use, such as input methods.

The 5800 not only supports an on-screen QWERTY keyboard, both stylus-sized and finger-sized, but an on-screen T9 numeric keypad for predictive text together with handwriting recognition.  As well as the Comes With Music version that will launch sometime in 2009, the standard 5800 XpressMusic will support Nokia’s Ovi media system.

Meanwhile the general overview is quite telling as to the heft of the 5800.  Nokia aren’t positioning the handset as a flagship device, instead highlighting its media components with presumably a more advanced device – a touchscreen smartphone – coming later on.  As a result, the 5800 isn’t as slick as, say, the iPhone 3G, and it won’t be quite as easy to carry.  It measures 115 x 52 x 14.5mm and weighs 104g.
