Nikon has trotted out several new digital cameras today. Earlier this morning Nikon unveiled the AW120 digital camera. Nikon also has several new digital cameras that slot into the Coolpix line. The cameras include the Coolpix P600, P530, S9700, and the P340.
The Nikon P600 has 60x optical zoom and a 120x Dynamic Fine Zoom digital zoom option. The camera also has Lens Shift Vibration Reduction image stabilization along with WiFi. The rear LCD is 3.0-inches with variable angle capability and the ability to shoot full HD resolution video. The P600 also has full manual controls and 16.1MP backside illuminated CMOS sensor.
The Coolpix P530 has 42x optical zoom and 84x digital zoom. It uses a 16.1MP BSI CMOS sensor and has full manual controls. It also packs a 3-inch rear LCD and the ability to record full HD resolution video. The S9700 digital camera has 30x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom. This is a compact camera with Lens Shift VR image stabilization. The S9700 has built-in WiFi and GPS.
Resolution for the S9700 is 16MP with a BSI CMOS sensor and it has a 3.0-inch OLED screen. The last of the new Coolpix digital cameras is the P340 with 5x optical zoom. It has Lens Shift VR image stabilization and a 12.2MP BSI CMOS sensor along with manual controls. The P340 features a 3-inch rear screen, and WiFi. The P600 will ship this month for $499.95. The P530 will ship this month as well for $449.95 with the S9700 shipping this month for $349.95. The P340 will ship in March for $379.95.
