Mystery Android MID makes second appearance

The identity of last week's mysterious Android MID is still unknown, but that hasn't stemmed the tide of images.  Over at Pocketables the next batch has turned up, this time highlighting the device's slim form-factor.

The design is, let's be frank, pretty Apple-alike, with the gloss black bezel and chromed edging, but that's not something we'll be arguing is unpleasant.  The first screenshot – which shows the MID sitting on a Sony VAIO P – would seem to indicate that there's a memory card slot of some sort, most likely microSD (which Android still refers to as SD); that's good, as under "available space" there's just 34MB listed.

Jenn over at Pocketables has done some sums with her own VAIO P, and decided the mystery MID measures roughly 4.5 x 3 inches.  That's certainly pocket-sized, and perhaps even similar to what we expect Archos to announce in the shape of their own Android MID.  Other than that, the physical hardware is pretty bare, with nothing but a connector port (we're guessing micro-USB) and a couple of buttons breaking up the design.
