Details of MSI’s new 12-inch Wind U200 notebook have leaked, confirming that the ultraportable does indeed use Intel’s CULV platform.  According to the source, the MSI Wind U200 has an Intel Celeron M ULV 723 1.20GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and a 250GB hard-drive.

The 12-inch display runs at 1366 x 768 resolution and is LED-backlit.  Graphics are courtesy of the Intel GMA 4500M chipset, and OS is Vista Home Premium.  Connectivity includes WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, as well as a VGA video output, at least one USB port and, judging by the photo above, an HDMI output.

The MSI Wind U200 weighs 1.4kg and comes as standard with a 3-cell battery.  No official word on pricing, but going by Intel’s netbook/notebook plans for 2009 we’d expect it to be around $699.
