These new 20.1-inch LCD monitors have a 5000:1 contrast resolution and a 2ms response time. The best part is that you don’t need a new or even good graphics card to push these monitors, just a spare USB port.
If I had to guess, and I do, they are using the DisplayLink technology that is gaining favor among display technology manufacturers. As I’ve said time and time again, this is an amazing new technology and one of the few that deserves all of the attention it’s getting.
These monitors also have 2 spare USB ports on the side to make them into a USB hub or for daisy-chaining together up to 6 of them. On which you can either extend or mirror the display of your source computer. I’d take a couple of their hands, but they aren’t available for sale yet and I don’t know when they will be or for how much.
