It’s a 10MP digital camera that has automatic controls or a handful of manual ones and it has a 12x optical zoom too. It can capture both HD images and video, likely just 720p, but its still a nice feature to have.
It also has optical image stabilization and a cheap low price. The 5x optical zoom and the 10MP are a pretty good balance between a large, scalable image, and the ability to zoom in on what you want to take a picture of without it messing up the image.
If you want one, they are coming soon, and are expected to hit a price point of $249.95. Not a bad price for a fairly high-end point and shoot.

it’s the Z1085 IS and the sensor is a CCD.
