A Chinese wholesaler has begun to offer parts supposedly for the third-generation Apple iPhone, including a replacement bezel and a replacement LCD display. Close examination of the bezel - which you can see in the gallery after the cut - suggests that the next-gen iPhone's speaker has been pushed further up the fascia of the handset, perhaps making room for a front-facing camera.
The listing also shows comparison shots between what are said to be the third-gen LCD panel connectors and those from the current iPhone 3G. Shipping is expected to begin in five to twelve days.
If these parts turn out to be legitimate, they do cast into doubt the rumor that Apple will be using OLED panels for their next iPhone. However, other recent rumors have suggested that Apple are planning three different versions of the new iPhone, including entry-level models for the Chinese market, so there could well be different displays used to match different price points.
