iPhone 7 detailed in four colors

Release day is coming for the iPhone 7 – not necessarily soon, but it's certainly on its way – and with it, a variety of new colors for the Apple flagship. Today we've got images of four colors for the next smartphone from the fruit company, one that suggests two shades of gray, the other that suggests one gray and one blue. Both images suggest that both Gold and Rose Gold are locks for the next device – for the smaller version, anyway.

While these images seem to back up the colors shown with the most recent iPhone 7 in-hand photos, there's some discrepancy with the camera bump. We've reason to believe that the slightly more quarterpipe-like groove is more accurate than the lump we've seen in the past.

It's also more likely that the final set of colors won't actually include blue, but the two shades of gray that match the Apple Watch already in production. If blue ever did come to the iPhone, it'd come next year, when Apple reaches its 10th anniversary for the release of the iPhone as a line of devices.

The grays you'll see above are Silver and Space Gray, which are already available for the iPhone 6S. It's been rumored – and even rendered as such – that the iPhone 7 might come in a Space Black to match the Apple Watch of the same tone. We've not yet seen actual hardware with such colors intact.

The image you see above with the massive watermark on it comes from Macticynet. The rendered lineup comes from a Weibo microblog post that's since been removed from the web.
