iOS 4.2 Now Available

It's been a long time coming, but iOS 4.2 is now officially available for those with an iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. We knew it was coming earlier today, and we even brought you some on-time analysis of the major software upgrade for iOS-base devices. And now that it is finally, officially available for the masses, there should be plenty of people plugging in their iDevice, getting ready to sample some of the 100 brand new features that 4.2 brings to the table.

Of course, of those 100 new features, there's going to be a few in there that shine brighter than others. For example, if you're updating your iPad to iOS 4.2, one of the best features is the multitasking that is now supported by the tablet device. You will also get access to Folders, Game Center, AirPlay, and AirPrint. When it comes to GameCenter, these are just upgrades to the social networking feature, as it has been available since iOS 4.1 on the smaller iDevices. For you iPad owners, welcome to the new social networking of gaming.

Go ahead and get to downloading, and let us know in the comments if iOS 4.2 has been everything you thought it would be. And, if you've got yourself an iPad, how's that multitasking working out for you?
