Interplay Finally Looking To Produce Fallout Online

Now all they need is the money. So far they have taken nearly 6 years to go from being $59 million in debt, to being only $3 million in debt, which is apparently an acceptably enough amount to start looking for investors in their last gambit.

Apparently a lot of the money that went towards paying off their debts came from Bethesda when they bought all of the Fallout intellectual property, with one exception, Fallout Online. Now they are begging, borrowing, and stealing to get the dough to make an MMOG or massive multiplayer online game.

They seem to be pretty much relying on Fallout Online to not only pull them the rest of the way out of debt, but start making them enough money that they can afford to start producing other works. This is quite sad to me, I have played Fallout, and Fallout 2 and they were both great games (not too long ago I busted them both out again and could only get Fallout 2 to install on XP).
