Ideum updates MT-50 multitouch table again

We have been talking about the Ideum MT-50 multitouch table for a while now. The last time we mentioned the slick device was back in August of 2009. Ideum has updated the MT-50 again and offered up the specs of the table. This thing really reminds me a lot of the screen that they use on NCIS: Los Angeles.

The table measures 50-inches and has ultra-clear tempered glass surface. The table is ADA compliant at 31″ H x 33″ W x 53″ L and is made from extruded aluminum. Ideum will fit the table with optional LED under lighting. The resolution is 1280 x 720 and the table uses a DLP projector with 3000 ANSI lumens of brightness.

The computer that backs the multitouch goodness of the machine is an Intel quad-core 3GHz machine. Graphics are handled by an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285, the PC has 4GB of RAM, and a pair of 10,000 rpm, 300GB HDDs is used for storage. The table is optimized to handle up to 60 points of touch at once.
