Huawei Fit smartwatch leaks packing e-ink display

A new Huawei wearable has leaked that claims to be called the Huawei Fit. The watch looks very similar to the Pebble Time Round and even has an e-ink or e-paper round face like the Pebble wearable. What we can tell from the images isn't; that much, but the wearable has a swim mode indicating that it will be waterproof.

It also has a heart rate monitor and a running app and pedometer inside. We have no idea what operating system the device will run. Huawei has in the past used Android for its wearables. However we learned back in September that Huawei was eyeing Tizen for its future wearables.

The leaked images show the watch with black, orange, and blue straps. Huawei is expected to launch the Mate 9 smartphone on November 3, perhaps the wearable will launch that same day as well. If you missed the rumor about the Mate 9, it is tipped for nice hardware.

That smartphone is expected to come in a version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and a version with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The top of the line version is rumored to pack 256GB of storage and 6GB of RAM. All versions will run Android 7.0 according to the leak and have a fingerprint scanner along with dual rear cameras in 20MP and 12MP resolution. The chipset is tipped as a Kirin 960 with an octa-core CPU and mali-G71 MP8 GPU.
