This is a 28-inch widescreen display, that’s huge, I mean the only computer monitor I know of that’s larger are the 30” models. It also has a 1920×1200 resolution and a not so impressive contrast ratio of 800:1.

It has a 3ms response time, which should satiate any gamer. For inputs you get your choice of HDMI with HDCP for those movie buffs and gamers, or the good old fashioned 15-pin D-Sub connector.

The monitor can also act as a pass through for your audio out allowing you to plug speakers or headphones directly into the monitor instead of having to run those cables to the back of your PC. No word on price or availability though, but I would expect it to be somewhere around a thousand dollars, probably more.

So does the 1920×1200 res mean that it doesn’t require duallink DVI, then.

I’m not sure what the benefit is to a bigger screen (than the 24″) that has the same resolution…

This monitor is already out and has been for a long time. It only goes for around $500 and is an amazing value.
