Welcome back Gearheads! I hope everyone had a fabulous long holiday weekend. Well, it’s back to business as usual and there’s a lot coming up in September. Exactly a week from today, Palm is expected to launch its new Treo 750 codename Lennon. SlashGear will also be in Los Angeles starting Monday, September 10, 2006 to cover the Smartphone Summit followed by CTIA Wireless 2006. I have a briefing scheduled with Palm Tuesday morning at 10am PST, to bring you videos and shots of the company’s latest smart phone – the new Treo!
Other Apple rumors flying around will also get confirmed late this week or early next week. Its highly possible Apple will rollout iTune movies, a 23-inch iMac, updates to the Macbook Pro, and perhaps the new iPhone? Stay tune and rest assure that we’ll report all news and rumors as they become available.
I’m looking forward to the Treo 700wx that’s arriving later today. The unboxing video, comparison and contrast images and initial impressions will get posted ASAP. Still keeping my fingers crossed for an early review unit of the SIRIUS Stiletto! The word is it’s not available until late or early October – boo!
Lastly, we’ll be running short clips from CTIA Wireless in Las Vegas, 2006 for your viewing pleasure.
